Have you wondered what my images look like before I edit them? In this new series, “Photoshop Friday- Photoshop Before and After,” I’ll show you! Check out this image from when it starts feeling like spring in St. Louis.

Spring in St. Louis

Spring in St. Louis is finally here! The snow was fun for a bit, but I prefer the warmer weather. The redbuds are in bloom and I wanted to take a few pictures of my kids with them. I captured this image of my daughter just having so much fun running and playing, but there wasn’t a pretty tree in bloom like I was wanting. I ended up using another image from a few minutes before where her pose wasn’t as great to take the tree and place it in the image I preferred.

The edits in this image are all standard editing techniques used in my sessions. An edit like this can take anywhere from 30-60 minutes, depending on the image and really can take a photo from cute to a piece of art that would look beautiful displayed on your walls!
