How tiny your baby's toes are, the little tufts of hair, how beautiful she is- these are things you will want to remember forever. I would love to be your St. Louis newborn photographer to help you capture the first family portrait and all the sweet newborn photos you will treasure forever.
I want you to have a stress-free and relaxed newborn photo experience. My newborn clients all receive access to my client closet of carefully curated gowns for mom and props, wraps, bonnets, and headbands for baby, expert planning and styling, and a session reveal to help choose your images and heirlooms. All my clients take home archival artwork to display in their home!

Everything begins with a quick conversation! I want to know all the details you are envisioning for your newborn photo session! We'll chat, see if we are a good fit, and schedule your planning consultation.
1. Say Hello
Next, we'll meet for a planning consultation. This will happen in the comfort of your own home or you may come to my studio. We'll get to know each other and plan your dream session!
You will have the opportunity to look through my client closet of tiny baby wraps, headbands, and bonnets, flip through my curated collection of heirloom albums and folio boxes, and check out beautiful, archival wall art.
We will choose colors and location, plan outfits for everyone, and start deciding how and where you would like to display your photos. This is when you will reserve your session date.
2. Planning Consultation
We will have a relaxed newborn photo session! I have snacks and drinks available, as well as toys for siblings. We'll start with family and sibling photos, followed by photos focusing on your new baby. All newborn photo sessions take place at my studio in the St. Louis area.
3. Your session
Now for the fun part! You'll come back in for your viewing and ordering appointment. This is when you will see your photos for the very first time and choose your heirlooms!

So exciting! You will return in 4-6 weeks to view and pick up your artwork! Once everything has arrived and been hand inspected, I will contact you to set up your appointment.

Your newborn session session fee is $250. This includes a design appointment to customize the session to your unique family, expert styling and access to our client closet of newborn wraps, bonnets, and props, professional posing to help you look your best and remember all the sweet little features of your newborn, and expert retouching of your images. Hair and makeup is available for new moms for an additional fee.
Sutherland Photography offers only archival quality prints, canvases, and albums to preserve your first memories as a new family. Artwork is available a la carte, so you only purchase what works for your home and your family.
Digital images and products are sold separately.
