I recently took a trip to Hawaii to help my sister move back to the mainland and to take some of their last photos in Hawaii. We fit as much as we could into a short few days.
One of my favorite days, we went to the Hoʻomaluhia Botanical Garden for a family photoshoot.
For this first one, we found this beautiful tree! We had a bit of a rain shower during this session, but we took the opportunity to get this shot under the tree.
I hadn’t been able to make the trip out before this, so this was the first time I met my nephew, George, and I hadn’t seen my sister and niece, Vivian in a year and a half!
I love this shot with the gorgeous mountains in the background. I typically love the bokeh of a shallow depth of field, but for this, I wanted all that to be seen!
I would love to help you plan your own photo session here in St. Louis! I have many locations around the area for an outdoor session, as well as a studio in St. Peters. If you would like to schedule your own session, fill out my contact form and I will give you a call to chat.
